Post-Tour Scoundrelizing…
Hello all ye Scoundrels,
Our last tour date with Kill It Kid took place last Sunday in Southampton in a fever of moist eyes and wistful glances. It’s been a great month getting to know and play with those guys who have been nothing but incredibly awesome to us throughout. I’m sure our paths will cross soon enough, maybe even on hallowed ground across the pond!
We now embark on a barrage of gigs in our adopted home city, fresh off the back of a tour and hopefully in fine form. We aim to strike London while the irons hot so to speak.
In between gigs we’ll be recording “Mary Jo”, a fruity little number on old 50’s analog equipment. Producing the session will be Lewis (of Daisy, Kitty and Lewis fame) and we’ll be hoping to record as they did in the days of yesteryear. One take, live, no smoke and mirrors effects, just good honest playing. How we like it. We’ll be recording the session with a film crew too so we’ll keep you posted as to when it’ll be available to watch.
Lastly, but by no means least we’re gearing up to the release of our “Sniff It Up” EP which is due for release in a week, on March 16th. It’s a real humdinger of a 5-track cd, with quite a few corking tunes. It’ll hopefully leave you all in eager anticipation and excitement at the prospect of our debut album set to be released two months later!
